Avisail ("we" or "our") operates as a vessel brokerage platform connecting buyers and sellers of used vessels. We act as an intermediary and do not own, sell, or directly trade vessels. We facilitate transactions by providing a listing platform and coordinating optional services including vessel inspection, international shipping, export documentation, and payment facilitation through vetted third-party partners.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site.
3. Service Scope
3.1. Brokerage Platform: We operate as a vessel brokerage platform, listing vessels from multiple sources. We do not own inventory or guarantee vessel availability. Listings are aggregated from third-party sources and updated regularly, but may not reflect real-time availability. 3.2. Information Disclaimer: Vessel information (specifications, prices, photos) is sourced from third parties. While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee completeness or accuracy of all listing information. Buyers must conduct independent verification. 3.3. Facilitation Services: We coordinate optional services including: • Professional vessel inspection (through third-party surveyors) • International shipping and logistics (through shipping partners) • Export documentation and customs clearance (through licensed agents) • Secure payment through escrow services (through financial institutions) 3.4. Broker Role: Avisail acts exclusively as a broker/facilitator. We are not a party to the sale contract between buyer and seller. Our role is limited to connecting parties and coordinating optional services.
4. User Responsibilities
4.1. Accurate Information: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and use of our services. 4.2. Due Diligence: Buyers are responsible for conducting their own due diligence on vessels, including inspection, verification of specifications, and legal compliance in their jurisdiction. 4.3. Compliance: You agree to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and international maritime standards in your jurisdiction.
5. Transactions
5.1. Brokerage Role: Avisail acts exclusively as a broker/intermediary. We are not a party to, and have no liability for, the sale contract between buyer and seller. Transactions are directly between buyer and vessel owner/seller. 5.2. No Transaction Guarantee: We do not guarantee completion of any transaction. Vessel availability, price, and terms are subject to seller confirmation and may change without notice. 5.3. Payment Terms: Payment terms, methods, and schedules are negotiated and agreed upon directly between buyer and seller. We strongly recommend using escrow services for all transactions. Avisail does not handle funds directly except when coordinating escrow services. 5.4. Cancellation: Cancellation policies are determined by the seller and transaction stage. Buyers should confirm cancellation terms before committing to purchase.
6. Pricing and Fees
6.1. Service Fees: Fees for optional services (inspection, shipping, documentation, escrow) are quoted separately and agreed upon before service commencement. 6.2. Third-Party Costs: Shipping, customs, taxes, and other third-party costs are the responsibility of the buyer unless otherwise agreed. 6.3. Price Changes: Vessel prices and service fees may change without notice. Final prices are confirmed in writing before commitment.
7. Disclaimers and Limitations
7.1. No Warranties: As a brokerage platform, we provide information "as-is" without any warranties. We do not guarantee: • Accuracy of vessel specifications, photos, or descriptions • Vessel condition, seaworthiness, or legal status • Availability of listed vessels • Completion of any transaction • Suitability for any particular purpose 7.2. Information Sources: Vessel listings are sourced from third parties. We are not responsible for inaccuracies, omissions, or outdated information. Buyers must independently verify all information. 7.3. Service Availability: We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service availability. The platform may be unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues, or other factors. 7.4. Third-Party Services: Optional services (inspection, shipping, documentation) are provided by independent third parties. We are not liable for their performance, delays, or errors. 7.5. Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Avisail and its operators shall not be liable for: • Any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages • Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities • Damages arising from failed transactions, vessel defects, or disputes • Actions or omissions of sellers, buyers, or third-party service providers Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the service fees actually paid to Avisail for the specific transaction in question.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Avisail or our content suppliers and is protected by international copyright laws.
9. Privacy

10. Dispute Resolution
